The Len Pick Trust is an invaluable charity in Bourne providing grant aid and support for community projects that benefit the people of Bourne. The Trust makes grants to charitable, voluntary and other organisations within Bourne, along with Dyke, Cawthorpe and Twenty.

The charity was formed after Len Pick, who was a respected and well known landowner in Bourne, left a considerable sum of money to be used for the benefit of the people of Bourne when he died at the ripe old age of 94 in 2004. Len was extremely passionate Bourne and quietly supported many aspects of the town throughout his lifetime. Upon his death he wanted his legacy to live on by donating the money made from the sale of his substantial estate to the town that he loved so much.

The Trust have donated large sums of money to a number of different organisations and projects since it was first established, including Bourne Outdoor Pool, Bourne in Bloom, Don't Lose Hope, Bourne Methodist Church Hall and the Bourne Darby & Joan Hall. The Trust have also donated money towards lifesaving defibrillators in the town.

All grants can be applied for online via the Trust website. Grants are only available for businesses in Bourne, Dyke, Cawthorpe and Twenty.

The Trust also provide hire of a well equipped air conditioned first floor meeting room at its head office close to Bourne town centre. The Market Room, as it referred to, has a comfortable capacity for up to 14 people - perfect for interviewing, appraisals, small to medium sized meetings, training, presentations and offsite management meetings. The meeting room has access to free tea & coffee facilities, secure wi-fi, ceiling mounted projector, PC, kitchen and toilet facilities. A stair lift is also available for disabled access.

The objective of the Len Pick Trust is to assist in delivering improvements to the quality of life, the environment and well-being for the people of Bourne.
